I was honored to serve as the Director of Programs for NFTE—now called Allen S Grossman, which has become a premier high school in North Philadelphia. Our partnership has grown rapidly since the early 1980s when I was assigned to the first school in 1985. We’ve now opened 10 campuses in Philadelphia since that time—each with its own leadership team, program staff, volunteers, faculty, and families. I am proud of what our students have accomplished since 1985.
